Junior Web Developer
Job Purpose
The main area of the Darkside Developments business is our successful E-Commerce website which turns over a substantial sum each year, but this is hosted on a cloud platform so there is very little maintenance of the actual website. The main bulk of the role will be in maintaining and improving our bespoke, in house and back end systems for order management, production and workflow. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about web development and have a solid foundational understanding in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, this could be an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the industry.
Work Location
This role is based at our facility near Barnsley, commutable from Sheffield and Leeds and with great transport links to the M1 and A1. This is NOT a remote position.
Role Specifics

Duties and Responsibilities

Turbo Technician
Job Purpose
The Turbo Technician will be responsible for;
- Strip and assess turbochargers of various sizes / Turbo diagnostics
- Complete reports on the condition of turbochargers·
- Fully process and clean components
- Carry out basic machining to parts (additional training will be given)

All levels of hardware upgrades need to be disclosed, feedback to the Powertrain Calibration and Development Engineer and support given if any form of insight can be shared to produce the best possible outcome for the customer. To develop itinerary and products. Feedback on current software packages with the aim to develop new lines currently being tested.
- Liaise with the Dispatch manager - To ensure order fulfilment is met on a daily basis and stock levels are maintained. This will require the input of components to the stock system and implementation of build processes. Job Purpose

Dispatch Operative / Parts Person
Job Purpose
The Dispatch Operative / Parts Person will maintain the daily functionality of the Darkside Developments Parts and Dispatch Department. Liaising with the Dispatch Manager to ensure daily workflows and targets are achieved. To do this you will also work closely with Fabrication and Service Workshop departments to ensure fluidity towards achieving our goal of exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Check the daily task list.

- Pick and pack all small orders.
- Ensure all small orders are picked all together at once. Maintains efficiency and speed and allows for effective packing.
- Pick and pack all large orders.
- Ensure all large orders are picked effectively, taking into account bin locations and item size. Maintains efficiency and speed and allows for effective packing.
- Dispatching completed orders.
- After items are picked and packed make sure all items are placed in relevant dispatch cages relating to the courier service used.
- Non-dispatched uncompleted orders.
