02M Gearbox Mounting Kit for MK2 / MK3 Golf Platform Vehicles

02M Gearbox (Ibiza / Fabia / Polo) Mounting Kit for MK2 / MK3 Platform Vehicles

This custom made Gearbox Mounting Kit enables fitment of the Ibiza / Polo / Fabia 02M Gearbox to a Mk2 / Mk3 Platform Vehicle

These mounts are laser cut and then bent in a specially made jig for accuracy

They are Nickle Coated to prevent corrosion but you can also paint over this if required

Other parts needed:

Passat B4 / Caddy Mk2 Cross Member (For Mk2 Golf Platfrom)
Passat B4 Hydraulic Pedal Box (For Mk2 Golf Platform)
These Gearboxes have better suited ratios for smaller wheel size compared to the Mk4 Platform 02M gearboxes

Driveshaft Info - Please see below some information on what driveshafts are required when doing this conversion:

Stock MK2 Hubs (4 Stud)
MK3 Golf Hubs (4 Stud)

Require Custom Driveshafts

Mk3 VR6 Wide Track Hubs & Wishbones (5 Stud)
MK1 TT Hubs and Wishbones Wide Track (5Stud) (Different Coilovers)

Require

Ibiza / Fabia 6 Speed Drivers Side Shaft with Mk4 Golf Outer CV
MK4 Golf 6 Speed Passenger Side Shaft

This Kit Consists of the following:

2 x Gearbox Mounts
All Required Mounting Bolts

PLEASE NOTE: If you are fitting an 02M Gearbox from the Mk4 Golf Platform you will need these mounts:

The Subframe may require modification to clear the larger gearbox casing
