1.6 16v TDI Common Rail MLS Head Gasket

Multi Layered Steel (MLS) Head Gasket for 1.6 16v TDI Common Rail Diesel VAG Engines

Please select from the option list which thickness gasket you require. This is based on the piston protrusion when the Engine is built up. The number of holes can be seen on the Silver Tab that sticks out on the front of the Engine

When changing the head gasket, please ensure you get the same thickness as previously fitted (unless the rods or pistons have been changed), otherwise you will have running issues

1 Hole Head Gasket Characterisitcs:

Thickness - 1.55mm
Diameter - 80.7mm
Piston protrusion to - 1.00mm
Piston protrusion from - 0.91mm

2 Hole Head Gasket Characterisitcs:

Thickness - 1.63mm
Diameter - 80.7mm
Piston protrusion to - 1.10mm
Piston protrusion from - 1.01mm

3 Hole Head Gasket Characterisitcs:

Thickness - 1.71mm
Diameter - 80.7mm
Piston protrusion to - 1.20mm
Piston protrusion from - 1.11mm
