This aftermarket timing chain kit contains all Chains, Sprockets, Guide Rails and Tensioners required to replace the timing chain on your B37 / B37U 1.5d Diesel Engine.

In most cases the timing chain system should be a lifetime non serviceable part. However BMW diesel timing chains are known to stretch and wear overtime, especially in cases where regular engine maintainence has not been carried out.

Common symptons of a faulty timing chain are metallic rattling noises, rough idling and engine misfires.
