BMW LSD Fitting Service for Welded Ring Gear Type
This service is to machine and install the Wavetrac LSD (Limited Slip Differential) into the differential housing for BMW models with welded ring gear. As the factory differential and ring gear are welded together, precision machining is required to remove the ring gear so this can be bolted to the new LSD. The removal and fitting is all done in house by our trained mechanics while the machining, drilling and tapping process is carried out by our trusted machine shop.This service will require you to send your original differential and housing unit to us for us to carry out the work
If you are unable to remove and send your own differential unit please contact us with your VIN number as we may be able to offer this on an exchange basis
