Darkside GT1752 Upgraded Performance Hybrid for Mk4 Platform 1.9 PD 8v TDI The ultimate bolt-on upgrade for your Mk4 Platform 1.9 PD TDI Engine capable of up 220bhp+! Made to fit all VAG Mk4 Platform vehicles, some vehicles will require the compressor housing to be clocked differently such as the Ibiza / Fabia / Polo Platform. This listing also has an option to be paired with our Darkside x Funk Motorsport Turbo Blankets available in a Carbon Fibre or Titanium Finish. Our Darkside GT1752 Hybrid can be used with the stock downpipe, EGR system and Intercooler Pipework, however if running the stock pipework you will require a 60-56mm Reducing Silcone hose (Linked Below).Power Figures:
We have tested this turbo on an ARL Mk4 Golf 1.9 PD TDI, the turbo made 2.1 Bar of boost producing 219.8bhp and around 370ftlb of Torque (See Dyno Graph below).
Fitment / Installation:
Our Hybrid Turbo does NOT use a clip connector like the standard turbo, if fitting this turbo with the stock pipework you will need to remove the clip connector from the boost pipe and use a clamp to slide this over the compressor housing.
Also the Turbo Intake on the compressor housing is slightly larger than standard, if fitting this turbo with the stock TIP pipe you will require a larger 60-56mm Reducing silicone. We have one listed below:
