Darkside Single Mass Billet Flywheel and Clutch Kit

Fits ALL VW / Audi / Seat and Skoda 1.9 TDI 5 Speed 02J-B & 6 Speed 02S Vehicles

The Solid Flywheel Kits are a popular conversion on the 1.9 TDI Engines to remove the OEM Dual Mass Flywheel when running increased power.

  • Will handle more power (Sachs Race Pressure Plate)
  • Prevents clutch disc from slipping (Sachs Race Pressure Plate)
  • More reliable over standard DMF
    • IMPORTANT: For vehicles with Stop / Start function we advise disabling this in VAG-COM if installing this kit

    This kit also fits some 1.4 TDI models (please see models in fitment list)

    In order to fit this kit to these models, Idle RPM must be increased
    This is a service we can offer @ £100 + VAT
    Torque Figures:

    Stock Pressure Plate - Will handle around 300Ft/Lbs (410Nm) with a stock pedal feel and bite
    Sachs Race Pressure Plate - This will handle another 50Ft/Lbs (70Nm), Total = around 350LbFt (475nm)


    Noise Level:

    When used on the 1.9 TDI Vehicles, this kit will have a similar noise level to the Dual Mass Flywheel.

    If installing on a Common Rail engine you will notice an increase in noise.

    Flywheel and Pressure Plate Bolts
