Darkside Uprated Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) VW Transporter T5

Our Custom Darkside Alloy Intercooler is designed to fit the VW Transporter T5 1.9 / 2.0 / 2.5 TDi and 2.0 TDI Bi-Turbo Models

This Uprated Intercooler is a direct replacement for the Standard Intercooler found on all the 1.9 / 2.0 and 2.5 TDi VW Transporter T5 / T6

This Intercooler benefits from a thicker core as well as welded end tanks for increased cooling and eliminating the chance of the End Tank separating from the Intercooler Core.

Lower Intake Air Temps / IAT's

To fit this to your standard Pipework, you need to remove the Clip Adapters from the standard pipes, then using the clamps provided clamp the standard pipes on to the Intercooler.

Please Note: This is not an upgrade for T6 vans fitted with Charge Cooler.

Intercooler Dimensions:

T5 1.9 / 2.0 / 2.5 TDi Intercooler Core Dimensions - 560mm x 230mm x 65mm (57mm pipe work).

T5 1.9 / 2.0 / 2.5 TDi Large (recommended for applications over 200bhp) Intercooler Core Dimensions 600mm x 300mm x 75mm (57mm pipe work) Includes Oil cooler mounting bosses.

2.0 TDI Bi-Turbo Core Dimensions 600mm x 300mm x 75mm (63mm pipe work) Includes Oil cooler mounting bosses.
