The Common Fault codes are as follows:

P3135 (12597) Intake manifold flap for airflow control,
lower limit not reached

P1018 (4120) Intake manifold flap 2 for airflow control,
lower limit not reached

P2008 (8200) Intake manifold flap for airflow control,
electrical fault

P2011 (8209) Intake manifold flap 2 for airflow control,
electrical fault

Installation:

After the actuator has been installed, the complete swirl flap system (actuator motor, including the controlled parts) has to be programmed / coded in. VDO advise that this can only be done with the following special tools: VAS 6395A or VAS 6395B.
