AKS Plastic Swirl Flap Delete Kit for VAG 2.0 TFSI EA113 Petrol Engines

The swirl flaps (also known as runner flaps) are individual plates, functioning like a throttle body flap, that are located within each intake manifold runner. However, even when opened to the maximum position, the flaps still represent an airflow restriction. This kit fills the voids in each runner after removing the factory runner flaps.

We highly recommend changing the Inlet Seal at the same time as performing this delete:

Tuning is strognly recommended when performing this swirl flap delete to maximize performance. Simply removing the flaps can cause adverse running conditions during cold start. However through correct ECU recalibrations, the tuner can eliminate this harsh running condition.
